Dal 21 dicembre 2013 al 12 gennaio 2014 è stata aperta gratuitamente al pubblico la mostra “Biciclette da corsa d’epoca: da Coppi e Bartali ai nostri giorni” allestita nel cuore del centro storico di Gradara presso il Palazzo Rubini Vesin.
L’esposizione, curata da "Italian Vintage Bicycles Collection" di Pesaro e promossa da Gradara Innova e dall’Assessorato allo Sport del Comune di Gradara, ha presentato una collezione di splendide biciclette da corsa d’epoca a partire dal 1940, al contempo capolavori della tecnica e testimonianze storiche di straordinario fascino.
Un particolare risalto nell’allestimento viene dato al periodo d’oro del ciclismo italiano che ha per protagonisti i leggendari campioni Coppi e Bartali.
Ammirare da vicino queste opere d’ingegno permette di constatare l’evoluzione della tecnica costruttiva del disegno dei telai e dei diversi componenti dagli anni precedenti la Seconda Guerra Mondiale ad oggi.
Visitando questa esposizione, i più giovani avranno la possibilità di conoscere ed apprezzare aspetti entusiasmanti di un passato ancora vivo e coinvolgente, mentre gli adulti potranno riassaporare e rivivere momenti indimenticabili, scolpiti nell’immaginario storico collettivo.

From December 21, 2013 to January 12, 2014 was open free to the public the exhibition "Vintage racing bicycles: from Coppi and Bartali to the present day" set in the heart of the old town of Gradara at the Palace Rubini Vesin.
The exhibition, curated by "Italian
Vintage Bicycles Collection" of Pesaro and promoted by Gradara Innova and by the Sports Councilorship of Gradara, presented a collection of beautiful vintage racing bikes since 1940.

There were showed masterpieces of art and historical evidence of extraordinary charm.
A particular emphasis is given to the golden age of Italian cycling, the time of the rivalry between the legendary champions Coppi and Bartali.
Closely admiring these works of genius allows you to see the evolution of the construction technique of the frames and other components from the years preceding World War II to the present.
Visiting this exhibition, the young people will have the opportunity to know and appreciate exciting aspects of a past still alive and engaging, while adults can rediscover and relive unforgettable moments, stamped on our collective imagination.
For everyone it is an unmissable opportunity to travel back in time and rediscover the values and emotions that are part of our general history, not only of sports history.
