Storia di Ancora
L'Ancora è stata un'importante casa milanese, che, oltre a bici, produceva motociclette (con qualche successo sportivo: si ricorda una vittoria al famoso "Circuito del Lario"). La costruzione delle biciclette ANCORA, risale sin dalla fine della prima Guerra Mondiale, con esattezza nel 1919.
Le notizie disponibili su questa azienda non sono comunque molte. Il logo ANCORA nasce prima “graficamente” e diventa subito “marchio” a Milano nelle officine di Via Plinio nr.2 della Ditta TACCHINI, PRACCHI & C.. Nel 1925. Il logo ANCORA diventa il simbolo ed il sinonimo di una bicicletta che, da quel momento diventerà una delle più belle e preziose tra quelle in commercio. Nel 1932 ci fu la cessione della “bicicletta ANCORA” all’azienda “UMBERTO DEI”. Dal 1934 al 1938, il logo “ANCORA” rimane sulle biciclette, ma viene sostituita la scritta sul nastro che avvolge l’Ancora stessa. Scompare “TACCHINI, PRACCHI & C.” e compare così la scritta “CICLI-MOTO ANCORA MILANO MARCA DEPOSITATA”. Dal 1933 al 1936 il brevetto “biciclette ANCORA” diventa un vero e proprio marchio depositato (come si evince dal nuovo logo presente sulle biciclette) sotto il controllo del “gruppo UMBERTO DEI” Tutte le biciclette erano debitamente coperte da “Certificato di Garanzia” che veniva consegnato ad ogni acquirente ed aveva validità di 1 (UNO) anno dalla data di vendita. Nel 1936 la Dei ha cessato di produrre con il marchio "Ancora".

The news available on this company are not however many. The ANCORA logo was born first "graphically" and immediately became a "brand" in Milan in the workshops of Via Plinio nr.2 of the company TACCHINI, PRACCHI & C .. In 1925. The ANCORA logo became the symbol and synonym of a bicycle that, from that moment it will become one of the most beautiful and precious among those on the market. In 1932 there was the sale of the "ANCORA bicycle" to the "UMBERTO DEI" company. From 1934 to 1938, the "STILL" logo remains on bicycles, but the writing on the tape that wraps around the Anchor itself is replaced. “TACCHINI, PRACCHI & C.” disappears and thus appears the writing "CICLI-MOTO ANCORA MILANO BRAND DEPOSITED". From 1933 to 1936 the "ANCORA bicycles" patent becomes a real trademark (as can be seen from the new logo on the bicycles) under the control of the "UMBERTO DEI group". All bicycles were duly covered by a "Certificate of Guarantee" which it was delivered to each buyer and was valid for 1 (ONE) year
