Nei primi anni ’70 quando Raul Gozzi, corridore dilettante e operatore specializzato in pantografia ed elettroforesi, aprì la sua officina. In breve tempo la sua abilità nell’intagliare al pantografo congiunzioni con disegni e forme di rara bellezza e precisione attirò l’occhio onnipresente di Ernesto Colnago il quale gli commissionò le pantografie per i suoi telai, in breve tempo il lavoro crebbe e Reclus si unì al fratello in officina. Nel 1975 il rapporto umano e professionale tra la famiglia Gozzi ed Ernesto era maturato al punto che quest’ultimo propose ai Gozzi di ampliare la collaborazione costruendo anche i telai per Colnago. Reclus si recò quindi a Milano alla Colnago accompagnato dal padre per imparare i fondamentali del mestiere. Due anni più tardi i due fratelli Raul e Reclus insieme al padre fondano la Rauler (che significa “RAUL E RECLUS”) per la produzione di telai speciali e su misura firmati a proprio nome, presentati già l’anno successivo alla fiera del Ciclo di Milano.
In the early 70s when Raul Gozzi, amateur cyclist and operator specialized in pantography and electrophoresis, opened his workshop. In a short time his ability to carve junctions with drawings and shapes of rare beauty and precision at the pantograph attracted the ubiquitous eye of Ernesto Colnago who commissioned him the pantographs for his frames, in a short time the work grew and Reclus joined to his brother in the workshop. In 1975 the human and professional relationship between the Gozzi family and Ernesto had matured to the point that the latter proposed to Gozzi to expand the collaboration by also building the frames for Colnago. Reclus then went to Milan to Colnago Company accompanied by his father to learn the fundamentals of the trade. Two years later the two brothers Raul and Reclus together with their father found Rauler (which means "RAUL E RECLUS") for the production of special and made-to-measure frames signed in their own name, already presented the following year at the ciclo exibition in Milan.
