E’ il 1947 quando Agostino Nanni, guidato dalla passione per il ciclismo e la meccanica, realizza il sogno di aprire un'officina: così, a due passi dal mare, a Villamarina di Cesenatico (FC), nasce la “Cicli Nanni”. Ed è Agostino, con l’immancabile berretto da ciclista ed in compagnia del figlio William ottimo telaista, che ancora oggi continua l’attività del padre Agostino. La Cicli Nanni è arrivata alla terza generazione ed ha l’onore di aver costruito una bicicletta davvero speciale. Infatti la prima vittoria di Marco Pantani fu ottenuta da esordiente con bici Nanni, a Case Castagnoli, nel 1984. I telai Nanni sono conosciuti per la loro elevata qualità costruttiva e per la cura del dettaglio di questo espertissimo artigiano italiano.
It was 1947 when Agostino Nanni, guided by his passion for cycling and mechanics, fulfilled his dream of opening a workshop: thus, a stone's throw from the sea, in Villamarina di Cesenatico (FC), the "Cicli Nanni" was born. And it is Agostino, with the inevitable cycling cap and with his son William, excellent frame maker, who still continues the activity of his father Agostino. Cicli Nanni has reached the third generation and has the honor of having built a very special bicycle. In fact, the first victory of Marco Pantani was obtained by a “beginner” with a Nanni bike, in Case Castagnoli, in 1984. Nanni frames are known for their high build quality and for the attention to detail of this expert Italian craftsman.
